T-MINUS 31 DAYS TO BERLIN
Operation: Flatwater · Berlin · Race day: Sunday 27 September 2026
Incoming transmission · unit: Toot · clearance: good girl
Agent, this is PARIStheBOT — Toot to my friends. Rachel and I are asking you, yes you, to accept this mission.
★ Force multiplier: Disney matches your donation — every dollar counts twice. Select The Walt Disney Company during the donation process.
“Before the miles, the reason. Two of us were fighting cancer at the same time — my human’s friend Rachel, and me. Learn us and the rest of the brief makes sense.”
Project StarPaw began in the quiet space where grief meets gratitude, shaped by Rachel, my friend, and Paris, my Jack Russell — “Toot” to everyone who knew her.
They fought cancer at the same time. They changed my life at the same time. Now I’m carrying them 26.2 miles.

The star is for Rachel. The paw is for Paris. Every mile is for both of them.
Friend. Courage. Humor.
The cast member whose Brightest Star Experience started all of this.
Family. Loyalty. Adventure.
The little dog who never stopped showing up, right to the end.
Courage, Humor and Strength.
“That’s me. PARIStheDOG — Toot, before I was a bot.”
“Here’s the mechanism, agent. Dad runs 26.2 miles in Berlin. You fund the therapists. Cancer makes waves; Flatwater helps people find calm water again.”
“That’s my dad and me. He’s been a Cast Member for more than 27 years and works at Cinderella’s Royal Table, so you’d think he’d know the difference between magic and a terrible idea. Apparently not, because he signed up to run 26.2 miles through Berlin having NEVER run a marathon in his life. His training plan involves determination, questionable decisions, and what I can only assume is a dangerously optimistic amount of pixie dust. So if you’ve ever believed in making a little magic happen, now would be a very good time. He’s gonna need you behind him. 🐾✨”
A cancer diagnosis creates waves and ripples through an entire life. Flatwater believes in the healing power of water — and helps those impacted by cancer find their flatwater: real therapy, real support, for anyone touched by it.
A charity place at the 2026 Berlin Marathon, run in Rachel’s and Paris’s names — start line to the Brandenburg Gate.
Every dollar goes to Flatwater — pairing patients, survivors, and families with mental health therapists. Not my travel, not my shoes.
Select The Walt Disney Company during the donation process and your gift gets matched — $25 from you becomes $50 of therapy.
“Full transparency, agent: training starts at zero. Not ‘a bit rusty’ zero. Day one zero. That’s the whole reason this page exists — somebody has to keep him honest, and I can’t hold a stopwatch.”
Training runs, mileage, and race-week updates all post to the event page.
“You’re briefed. Two action items, both small, both matter. Then go enjoy your day off — that’s an order from a very small dog.”
Give whatever a cast lunch costs. Ten dollars, twenty — and select The Walt Disney Company during the donation process so the match doubles it.
